In health care, you can’t always predict an emergency. But you can prepare for it. Through the Simulation Patient Safety Program (SPSP), the University of Ottawa Skills and Simulation Centre (uOSSC) brings simulation education to health-care teams across the system. By practising real-world scenarios in a safe environment, teams can build confidence, strengthen teamwork and uncover risks before they become reality. And because it’s not always practical to take an entire team away from their work environment, we bring simulation to you.
