As one of the busiest and most diverse centres of its kind in North America, the University of Ottawa Skills and Simulation Centre (uOSSC) is a national and international leader in simulation-based education and innovative research, promoting quality patient-centred health care.
Born out of a partnership between the University and The Ottawa Hospital, the uOSSC’s state-of-theart facilities and activities attract students, clinicians, fellows and researchers from around the globe.
We are committed to:
- Delivering high-quality simulation-based medical education;
- Fostering interprofessional and collaborative education (IPE);
- Promoting and supporting high-calibre research and innovation;
- Engagement with the local and global education community; and
- Promoting the use of simulation across the entire spectrum of health professions education.
